LION KING AT THE KELLER

Chelsea and I went to see “The Lion King” at the Keller Auditorium in Portland. I have wanted to see that since I was 18 years old and first heard about the production. This broadway series has won a ridiculous amount of awards and after attending I can honestly say they deserved each and every one of them! It was hands down the best performance I have ever gone to. One day when Sula is older I will take her too. Chelsea came into tickets last minute from her aunt (who also happens to be the executive director of Community Action) and invited me to go. The music, the costumes, the choreographing, the script, the lighting were all so beautiful, so well done, so perfect! Definitely a 5 start performance. This was also however the first time I ever really left Sula to go do something on my own. I mean I left when I had to work but that was just down the street and it was after all work. This was something fun, something grown up, something for me. I had fun but it was definitely weird not having my little sweetie with me.
