My 2nd gift was a Garmin Colorado GPS handheld unit for geocaching. For those of you who are unfamiliar with it go to http://www.geocaching.com/. It is a great activity to do with family and/or friends, great way to get out of the house and explore the area. It's a modern day treasure hunt fun for all ages. Well I haven't been able to go since X took the GPS so now I can! YAY! It was extremely unexpected and very much appreciated.
When I arrived at work I found everything on my walls and desk to be shifted at an angle. I swear I had a headache all day from looking at it. My coworkers are so silly. To start the day we had an all-staff meeting which wasn't all that bad. They honored employees for their time spent in public service in incriments of 5, 10, 15, 20, and 30 years! Wow 30 years at the same place, now that's dedication. I can see how that could happen, this is a wonderful organization to work for. (The following picture are my rose colored queen for a day glasses made just for me by Betty)After work I played with my GPS unit and figured out all the fancy featured. I plugged it into my computer and was able to download local geocaches directly onto it. Awesome! Damien and I went out geocaching, it was his first time both geocaching and using a GPS unit. He enjoyed the evening and even asked about going out again. I am very happy he liked it. If any of you want to join me let me know!

My birthday dinner wasn't all that great and I was totally gipped out of a third of my meal even though I asked about it...argh! Expensive and not worth it. We will go back to our original place next time. (not even worth it to mention their name)
So on your birthday it's fun to think of all the places that give out free stuff. I could only think of one but I go every year. Hollywood Video will give you a free rental, even new releases for your birthday. Since I get so many redbox codes I elected to choose on not heavily marketed. I usually enjoy the mellow alternative movies more anyway. Looking forward to watching "The Visitor" sometime this weekend.
What a wonderful day! Thank you to everyone who called me, text messaged me, visited me, etc. I love all of you and appreciate you making this day so special!
