LOVE OF MY LIFE
RUNS IN THE FAMILY
GREEN THUMB
This year Damien and I tried our hands at being farmers and it has been an incredible 5 months! We built a garden box, filled it with local organic soil/compost, and started plants from organic seeds. This summer so far we have had the pleasure of eating strawberries, tomatoes, kale, zucchinis, cucumbers, carrots, and sugar snap peas grown organically by us. We still have so many more that we are anxiously awaiting to be ready. It is amazing what one can produce with a little time, water, sun, dirt, and love. We have saved money, had a wonderful time, and are working on becoming a little more self-sustaining.

Damien and I are expecting our first baby! We could not be more excited with the anticipation of having a little baby girl in our life. Life is wonderful!

I am 22 weeks into the pregnancy so far and am feeling great. It has been a smooth ride and a wonderful journey. Next week marks the start of the 6th month and I just started showing last week. I get a big smile and start laughing everytime I tell people I am pregnant because their first reaction is "oh, did you just find out?". When I say no I am about to enter the 6th month their jaws nearly drop as they say "What?! But you are so small!" It is nice though to finally start looking pregnant now!

We just started collecting items for the baby's room and already have a beautiful crib, changing table, rocker, swing, as well as lots of adorable clothes. Last weekend we painted her bedroom pink and placed the furniture we purchased in her room.
I went to the library last week and checked out about 15 books on baby names. I write down the ones I like but so far don't have anything that majorly stands out. Whatever we decide it will be a surprise until she is born.
